DTG Launches New Models of its MPower Advanced Battery System, the Industry’s Most Reliable and Safest LFP Battery Power for Mobilized Food and Beverage Carts
MPower Suite of Intelligent Battery Solutions Delivers Mobile Power to DTG PowerStations for Hospitality Markets, Dining Services
WILMINGTON, Mass., Sept. 26, 2022 -- DTG, the leading provider of industrial-strength power systems and mobile workstation solutions, today announced new additions to its family of MPower advanced battery systems. The new models meet the power, safety and ergonomic needs of hospitality markets and dining services within clubs, resorts, universities, microservice markets and others.Available in different configurations and wattage capacity, DTG’s MPower advanced batteries are lightweight and ergonomically designed to meet a variety of needs. The new models offer advanced power to mobilize food and beverage operations for up to 18 hours. The battery systems are made with Lithium-Iron-Phosphate (LFP) chemistry, boasting the strongest globally-backed safety certifications and cleanest environmental properties available today. LFP power also outlasts SLA batteries by five times.“Today’s food & beverage service providers at universities, stadium events, breweries, clubs, and resorts, are looking for ways to boost the customer experience and provide greater convenience and options for patrons,” said Steve Shaheen, DTG CEO and founder. “Our mobilized PowerStations are helping them accomplish this, with the cleanest, safest battery power and 100 percent uptime, for keeping food and beverages cold and cooking food to order. With the launch of our new MPower battery systems, we’re bringing mobile food and beverage delivery to new heights.”The three new MPower battery systems include:
- MPower 1500: Offering 1500 watt hours of capacity and 24 volts of power in a compact design, DTG’s MPower 1500 provides power to commercial refrigeration systems, POS systems, digital displays, and powered motorized casters that mobilize carts to any location.
- MPower 1800 Slim: Provides 1750 watt hours of capacity and 12 volts of power in a low-profile design. The battery system is ideal for powering digital displays for menus, promotional videos and other signage on mobile food or beverage carts. The long and flat form factor allows displays to be mounted across the bottom or sides of the food or beverage cart to minimize the height that would be required with typical cube-shaped batteries.
- MPower 3100: For activities that require more power capacity, such as cooking, thermalizing, freezing or cooling, this MPower battery system delivers over 3100 watts of power capacity and 24 volts to power energy-hungry appliances on mobile carts.
With more than 50,000 batteries deployed in four continents, DTG’s safe, reliable, and powerful MPower battery systems empower an array of purpose-built mobile workstations for the largest companies in the world. Each of the battery systems offer an industry-leading five-year warranty and clean, swappable and uninterruptible power to fuel and mobilize food and dining services across all types of hospitality environments.
