WILMINGTON, Mass., March 9, 2022– Definitive Technology Group (DTG), the leading provider of industrial-strength power systems and mobile workstation solutions, today announced that it will be exhibiting its newest industrial PowerStations at Modex 2022, taking place in Atlanta, March 28-31, 2022.“Bringing advanced and safe power to the point of task is crucial in warehouses and distribution centers as they increasingly rely on technology, such as laptops, printers and other devices for tracking assets, managing inventory and fulfilling orders in a market that requires ever-faster response times and greater productivity,” said Steve Shaheen, DTG CEO and Founder. “We’re looking forward to showcasing our mobilized PowerStations and their innovative use of battery power to bring computing to the point of task while reducing the number of steps taken by workers to print labels, charge batteries and conduct other activities that erode productivity and impact safety.”DTG PowerStations that will be on display in the DTG Booth #C8287, include innovate new additions, such as:

  • RFID PowerStation. A newly introduced RFID-enabled mobilized power workstation for data collection and inventory scanning. Using Zebra Technologies’ FX9600 fixed RFID reader and DTG’s advanced lithium battery management system, the RFID PowerStation was originally designed to handle the labor-intensive inventory, fulfillment and distribution center needs of a major online retailer.
  • Problem Solver PowerStation. DTG’s flagship workstation was originally designed for a major online retailer. The problem solver allows employees to bring computing and printing to the point of task, whenever human intervention is required to solve problems, such as illegible labels or misplaced inventory.
  • Training PowerStation. A new addition to the PowerStation family, the Training PowerStation enables on-site employee training in the industrial warehouse via advanced workstations powering computer devices and displays that enable safer social distancing during education sessions.
  • Customized PowerStations. DTG also will be demonstrating custom-designed mobilized PowerStations developed for a leading home improvement retailer, a third-party logistics provider and other industrial companies that need advanced, mobilized power at the point of task in shipping and receiving and other activities.
